How to get your own copy of GIA in 2 simple steps

  1. Before you download the 30-day, risk-free evaluation copy, make sure that you have the latest version of the Microsoft .NET framework installed on your computer.

    GIA is written entirely in Visual Basic .NET, Microsoft's cutting edge development language. The common framework that enables the deployment of .NET applications is compatible with Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows XP (Home and Professional).

    Special note to Windows 98 users
    To function properly, GIA requires the Windows Management Interface. You can download the WMI by clicking here.

    Note: Windows 2000 or Windows XP users DO NOT need to download the WMI. 

  2. After downloading and installing the framework, click here to download the GIA setup package.

    Please note that GIA requires a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768.

    Unzip all the files from the GIA setup package (GIA_setup.zip) into a directory and click on setup.exe to start the installation process.

  In demo mode, you will be able to access all GIA features but the program will only let you save or export 5 image records at a time.
