Exploring the image selection panel
The visual image selection panel has the following elements:

1 - File type selection box
Lets you select the image file types you want to display in the visual file browser or include in recursive directory searches.

2 - Directory browser controls
Let you browse drives, directories, and files on your computer and network. The drive list box shows all drives that have been assigned a drive letter on your computer. The "Current directory" box shows the currently selected directory, and the folder/file list box shows details about existing folders and files in the current directory.
3 - Add / Remove buttons
 Add >>  Adds the selected file(s) from the folder/file list box in the left lower part of the selection panel to the "Files for Processing" list box.
 Add All >> Adds all files from the folder/file list box to the "Files for Processing" list box.
 Add recursively >> Recursively searches the entire directory tree beginning at the location shown in the "Current directory" box. Depending on the size of the directory structure and the processor speed of your computer, this may take from several seconds to several minutes.
 << Remove Removes the selected file(s) from the "Files for Processing" list box.
 << Remove All  Removes all files from the "Files for Processing" list box.
4 - Files for Processing list box
Shows all files currently selected for processing (i.e. inclusion in the currently active GIA project).
5 - Image preview area
Displays the image currently selected either in either the "Files in current directory" box or the "Files for Processing" list box.
